Affirmative Action is a crime

against HSL. If you don’t like AA, write to your representative. Otherwise, talk about something that hasn’t been talked to death already.

Oh, and you can use this thread to discuss anything but AA.

How’s the weather?

^ really bad here. Tons of snow. but really wet snow, the kind that is impossible to shovel

I prefer C batteries, the kind that will shock you if you lick them.

Oh, darn. I was hoping to read another entertaining flamewar.

The kind in your computer can do that too. It’s just a bit of a tingle though.

This thread is now about Ann Arbor.

Did you know weed is only a fine there?

Hm, never thought to lick my computer’s power source. Thanks for the info.

you know what can also do that - the magnetized end of one of those apple chargers.

How many different things does AA stand for?

I’ll begin w/ the first 2 that popped into my head.

Lawl, not the power source. The little battery that keeps your clock running.

does anyone think that the rate that time passes is interesting. Like why it is the rate that it is (more accurately why we sense it to be what it is).

I had a dream a few nights ago. I was with some friends from Michigan, and we had just got done eating dinner. I forget what we ate. But I remember feeling very happy. I remember looking out the window, seeing the trees, and seeing them sway in the wind, and also seeing the pink sky above them, because the sun was setting, and I remember wishing that I could be in that moment forever. I remember wishing time would stop and it wouldn’t end. And in that moment I tried to fix my surroundings into my head, which, it turns out, is why I remember that scene from the dream so well.

Time passing seems sad to me a lot, because it taints the best moments by making me remember they will end.
