My H took 7 years to get his BA, but he worked and attended classes. It just took time. He did switch majors from engineering to accounting during that time as well.
There are quite a few degrees and certifications offered in CCs. Perhaps your D would benefit from exploring them—nursing, respiratory therapy, imaging (ultrasoundH tech and more. I believe many are more “hands on” and may have more appeal.
