LOL! With all the filtering and smoothing people apply to their photos it’s impossible to tell what is real anyway.
I’m terrible. 3/10
(Text above is real and not AI…)
I only got 2
5/10.
Pretty interesting. And scary.
6/10 by absolutely random picking.
That’s scary! 3/10 for me.
Today on Facebook, I was shown suggestions for replies - more than the typical “Congratulations!” or similar. Short sentences with the note that they were AI generated and might not be appropriate in some cases.
So basically, it’s absolutely impossible to tell. That is some scary stuff.
I flunked that test. Scary!
I got 8/10!!! I’ve always been a good guesser
3/10! I really couldn’t tell!
7 of 10 correct.
Did you guess, or could you really tell? And if you could really tell, how??!
It was mostly guessing. But a lot of it, I figured it they looked too perfect or smooth, it was real and vice versa. They were probably thinking people would guess the other way.
4/10
I started out strong -
I got 5/10 and was just guessing.
20%. I guess I’m in the first wave to be eliminated when the machines take over.
I got 5/10 correct. I was purely guessing and thought it was difficult to tell the difference!
5/10 –
question – how do you feel about AI photos in college marketing materials?
(i have made a few ai people projects recently at my college. . . . eg for an urban studies class using “professional young diverse male standing against brick urban wall outside” Or “diverse young students in coffee shop looking at computer screen wearing red beanie hat” – and i like the results~ but i just cant figure out if i want to use them. (SO SO SO much easier than finding volunteers students and arranging times with school photographer!). Does it matter?
