Hello. I might be taking a block schedual with Algebra 2 and geometry together next year.
My teacher recommended me against taking that class, but since it’s a block schedual, would it really be more rigorous?
Should i take geometry first or algebra 2 first?
Thank you!
Unless you are very good in math, you will be very busy with the block workload (if each class is compacted into 4 months). Geometry first is better.

I’m not extremely good at math, but I think I can handle the workload. >-)
This looks like a great site for studying math. I think I will use this over the summer: http://www.mathplanet.com/
If you take 2 classes in 2 different semesters then you are fine. If you take both classes in the same semester then it will be heavy.

There is a lot of discussion in the math community about what the best sequence is. Algebra 1 first, then it can be either Geometry or Algebra 2.
I took Geometry and Algebra 2 at the same time it doesn’t really matter… Just do whatever people in your school normally do for course sequencing.

I mean they aren’t that related…you don’t. Red algebra 2 for geometry much just algebra 1. I think it is possible.
