<p>This is a question/answer session from an admissions counselor at Vanderbilt. Yes, it’s for college, but SO MUCH of the questions and considerations are the same. He talks about the importance of showing depth in EC’s and not just quantity, how they can tell when an essay was essentially written by someone else, etc. You will hear him say many of the same things that have been stated on this board since I have been around, but it’s good to actually see and hear someone who actually works in admissions say them. Warning: it is rather long. I think over twenty minutes.</p>
