<p>Because my school uses two different grading systems - one grading system in 9th and 10th grade (GCSE’s) and another in 11th and 12th grade (IB) - and I could detail on just one type of grading system on the UC application, I inserted the standardized grades according to the converting system (to US GPA) provided by Cambridge International Examinations and approved by the school. According to the conversion, a “B” is treated as an equivalent to an “A-” and subsequently, I converted any B’s that I got to A’s on the UC application. The standardizing system of the grades is even included in the school transcript and I have stated this on the application.</p>
<p>Having said all that, I do recognize that what I have reported differs from the official documentation and will Berkeley rescind me for this?</p>
