I realize my ACT is horrible (not good at standardized test), but do I even stand a chance at getting into UVa?

Not a great chance unless you’re ranked among the top handful of students in your class.

Great GPA, outstanding AP test results, good ACT. The Univ. of Virginia, like UNC at Chapel Hill, has Ivy like standards with respect to out-of-state admissions. This suggests that an act score of 32 or above might be “necessary” to have a strong chance for out-of-state admissions to the Univ. of Virginia.
