Am I Stupid?

I don’t understand why you’re freaking out about this. You said the test doesn’t count for anything so just brush it aside and don’t worry about it. You can’t let one bad test score put you down.

@ soldiers. Me too I take this thing called the CST , every year, & I’d always get advance on my English portion! ALWAYS! & the Cahsee is meant to be way way easier than the CST. That’s what got me worried…

I’m worried because more half of my honors class scored a higher grade than me… :(

In Florida, standardized tests don’t really matter after 8th grade. I’m sure it’s the same way in California.

What do you want us to tell you? You only posted on here to reassure yourself of your intelligence (or apparent lack thereof). We have told you: you are probably smart but either are not a good test taker or simply had a bad day. You have ignored this advice and are continuing to rant about your “problems” (although they’re not problems at all). Either stop complaining or go away.

^^ I know it actually doesnt matter at all esp for colleges. But if you took or looked at the Cahsee test, you’d be humiliated at the fact that they’re making u take this test to graduate high school. & the fact that I was in the position of “oh this test is so easy. Are they kidding us” but realizing I scored 398/450… Realllys devastates me. I’m really disowning myself.

How to be happy knowing you have failed? D:

Actually, the CASHEE * does * matter. In the sense that, you must pass it, in order to exit high school.

Sorry @ Dfree
I didn’t mean to ignore your advice but you came off kinda mean & sarcastic. But I really appreciate it & yeah maybe I did have a bad day. Or maybe the teacher told me the wrong scores? Haha I hope. Thanks :)

^^ but it doesn’t matter for colleges because they EXPECT you to pass it, considering how easy it is. :(

You titled the thread “am I stupid” and admitted yourself the test is not important. There’s not much room for any of us to give well-intentioned advice. Unless your school is called Reefer High, I doubt you’re “stupid” if you’re number 2 in your class and have a 4.2. Did you study for the test at all, or were you so overconfident that you just went right into it?

Generally, it’s not a test that you’re required to study for. It’s fairly manageable, even without studying.

May I ask you a question? Would a true, “higher level thinker” question their academic ability or intelligence, because they scored “proficient” on a single, state standardized test? No.

^ that hypothetical situation might be implausible.

personally, I cahsee that the OP will go far :).

Seriously? I thought the OP was a ■■■■■ everyone was going to ignore.

I never said, nor implied, that “the OP [wouldn’t] go far”. However, I do take issue with her describing herself as a “higher level thinker”.

yeah i wasn’t meaning it to sound like i was contrasting your opinion of the OP - sorry!

aw, i think it’s rather amusing :). but the OP is psychologically distinct for sure.

I’m not a “higher level thinker” haha I’m questioning myself. Big difference. I don’t know why you guys think this post is “funny” or “amusing”? -____-

What’s OP? What does it stand for?

it means original poster or post. well, i think it’s a good thing that you’re questioning yourself!

^^ then what do you mean “I cahsee think the OP will go far”?
