<p>Well we just got our Cahsee scores back… & I don’t knw if this is a mistake or not but… I got 398 on my English & 426 on my math. I thought the test was ridiculously easy! & I was so confident. I thought I’d get a perfect score? My class rank is 2. & I got a proficient on my English portion!!! How in the world? I’ve never gotten a proficient on my English exams/CST’s before. I’m starting to think maybe I am dumb? This situation is very suicidal. I just can’t believe I didn’t score a 450, like I thought I would. </p>

<p>I know the cahsee is not important AT ALL! But still considering it’s not significant to college or anything, I should’ve passed it with flying colors. Psssh should’ve passed it with a perfect score. But no really…I thought I took that test in the 6th grade or something… There were BABY WORDS! BABY WORDS I tell you… on that exam? They ask u want “concentrating” means? Like really now I’m taking hard cord classes & can’t even get a perfect score on a test that’s meant to be for the “under achievers” sophomores? Not to be mean or anything… But I hve high standards for myself & I feel like a COMPLETE LOSER/IDIOT. D:</p>

<p>Sorry if I’m being dramatic… It’s just… I mean put yourself in my position, with a 4.2, class ranked #2, & taking all AP courses & scored a “proficient”? That makes me SO furious !</p>

<p>Well if you’re number 2 in your class as you say you probably just had a bad day that day. If you really start to doubt your intelligence take an IQ test/SATs.</p>

<p>We don’t have your test answers, we don’t know what your mental state was that day, and for all we know, your high school class could be filled with students with the mental capacity of 2 year olds, making your 2/whatever ranking inflated.</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure there were tests at my school that was 10 times harder than the cahsee. So I’m pretty sure my high school is not inflated. & all the Top 10 students in my class got 450 on both… Except for me? That’s really weird.</p>

<p>I would ask you to reread the above post. In case you can’t recognize it yourself, it sounds absurd. Listen. You’re being absolutely ridiculous. Frankly, there is nothing wrong with scoring “proficient”. If you’re asking for sympathy, you definitely won’t get it-- at least not on this forum…</p>

<p>I don’t live in California but in Florida we have the Fcat, it goes 1-5. I get a 5 every year and according to the online statistics, on average 5-15% of kids get 5’s depending on the subject/grade. Easy stuff.</p>
