Since, clearly math/science is NOT my strong academic area…I am screwed for HYPS even if I focus on my high marks in the humanities subjects?
I am a Junior in high school btw.

I’d say you may have a chance. Just hang in there! HPYSM looks at your application holistically. As long as you explain this in your essays, and how you overcame such bad grades, they’ll have to accept you!

Hmm… I’d say match to slight reach. Just make sure your essays are really good. Also, be sure that your essays reflect your hard life growing up in the upper-middle class subdivision with a white picket fence, married loving parents, 1.4 siblings, and the dog.

Oh and make sure that you have an upward trend. Get a C average next semester and I’d say in for sure :D.

Oh, and you may also want to mention that you’re a male that is going into the humanities- hook for sure!

Best of luck!
(Yeah, I’m so done. It was fun to write though lol).

Why are you guys being so serious? He is obviously mocking one of the previous threads made here on CC. BTW, I highly doubt he got an F in Pre-Algebra because that is a course even regular students take in middle school.

Oh… If Lawlz wasn’t making this up, he would be screwed not only for HYPS but for life. Haha…
