I didn’t like seeing the football guys go like they did last night - no fault of their own. I was hoping it’d end up as a non-elimination round as a result but it didn’t.

I don’t like the blonde/pink haired ex-couple girl. I’m sure they must have picked her due to her annoying, harsh, and antagonistic personality.

I didn’t mind seeing the girls in the bikinis for some reason. ;)

I don’t have a favorite yet and none that I dislike yet other than the ex-couple girl.

It’s surprising how many mistakes the teams have made so far in not reading the clues properly. I think it’s a record number at this point.

If you miss a connection and your next flight is delayed then it’s time for Plan B. In previous years teams took the next flight to a major hub so they might have a shot at staying in the race. Both team members have to be going up and down terminals and then meeting and discussing other options.

I would do two things before going on the show…watch previous shows and pay attention to what they did at airports (and take notes), and then go and meet with a reservations expert and ask them lots of questions.

^^ But it looked like the footballers initially got messed up from the travel agent plugging in the wrong date for the flight and losing out on that flight. The other choices are somewhat random - you never know when an airline delay might impact - even at a major hub. I don’t like to see a team lose strictly due to something like this - they didn’t even get to race on this segment. This is the first time I recall it being this bad - it’s usually a delay due to a bad taxi driver or something. They also sometimes have a ‘catch-up’ roadblock on long segments like this where they arrive and then have to wait for the place to open at 8am or something - but not this time.

^^ Your point about no way to catch up is valid. Bad luck that this week had a long plane trip from South America to Europe. I feel the football players had to know they were at least three or four hours behind every other team yet they sat in the terminal. I recall other teams taking a risk and flying to a different airport and it paid off.

How many hours behind were they at the end? It had to be close to 6 to 8 hours judging by the tasks.

The NFLers Chester and Ephraim were the first to leave the pit stop at 6:27 PM. They had a lead of 6 hours over the Ice Girls, Ally and Ashley, and Tim and Marie, and 6 1/2 hours over the baseball wives, Nicky and Kim. When the travel agency woman made the error she was pointing on her computer screen to the flight info and dates. I think she would have printed out something for them to take with them that they should have checked.

Next, the two NFLers arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina around 5:30 AM and learn that their flight to Madrid was delayed by 4 hours. They could have waited for the flight and been in Spain and still in the race. But rather than catch a flight to the European continent, they chose to take a flight to Sao Paolo, Brazil and try to join other teams. This flight wasn’t scheduled to leave for Sao Paolo until 5:20 PM. So it looks like they were at the airport for around 12 hours!

So the flight was also delayed for two hours causing them to miss the last flight out of Sao Paulo for the night. Why didn’t they get off the plane and find another flight? That meant another 5 hours and 20 minutes wait until the flight to London would take off. Naturally their London to Lisbon flight was also delayed by SEVERAL hours and they still waited for it to leave. They really took the long delays very well. But I see why they were at least a half a day behind all of the other teams.

My favorite part of this week was when the pink haired girl said something like “they tried to be sneaky, and that’s something I would’ve done, so now I don’t like them!” Hilarious!!

And good for the Oklahoma kids for not buying in on the “let’s be friends” with the dingbat girls and the “too much Red Bull” guys. THAT’S a surefire way of getting eliminated.

I thought the Magellan challenge was great, and I even wondered if “I” would have been smart enough to realize the “trick” to the end of the map. For sure my D would have, and since she would be my partner, we’d have been ok, but I would have opted for “Tile” as she & I are really excellent puzzle solvers. :)

I didn’t think it was an elimination round so wasn’t sweating for the football guys. :(

Still really like the hippie dudes.

How come no one mentioned the car accident (fender bender) the taxi driver had? What was that all about? Hit a car, and keep moving along? Remind me not to drive there!

SO disappointed to see the express pass people get a first this week. I think they were kind of foolish to use the express pass at that point. The doctors now have the express pass advantage - good!

Those hockey chicks need to quit helping out the afganistan guys!! Especially when after they help them, the guys beat them to the pitstop!

Tough break for the bearded dudes - first place to last place. No doubt, they had fun along the way. :)

What a great episode this week, except I am really over the pink hair girl (can’t even recall her name…Tina?) - I wish they weren’t so good, cause I want them out.

I was starting to root for the Oklahoma boys after the bearded dudes lost. Now I can’t root for Oklahoma either. :(

Yeah bummer! The OK boys were by no means the best team but I loved their heart and motivation for the race - that singing task was KILLER!

Marie - that’s her name - playing dirty is her game! Ugh, she is SO unlikeable! I loved that the Jersey couple confronted her at the pit stop - give it to her!!

Would love to see a finale of the docs, the Jersey couple and Tim and Marie - and THEN, have the Jersey couple and the docs kick T/M butts!!!

So do you think there are no non-eliminations this year??? Not one yet.

Tim/Marie (pink girl) live in the town over from me, from Jersey. I hope she gets what’s coming at some point, though I am sure they are editing her to play her up as the villain. Jason and Amy are from Mass not Jersey.

I was certain that last week was a non-elimination leg (saving he bearded dudes), then I was positive this week was one (saving the OK boys), but now I’m thinking that it may indeed be a season on no non-elimination legs.

I also thought this week would be a non-elimination leg. If they’re going to have any non-elimination legs, I would’ve thought they’d have had one by now. Maybe there will only be one, or even none, non-elimination legs this year.

I feel bad for the OK boys on that last task.

I can understand why Tim and Marie are exes. I hope they don’t win.

I also greatly dislike the pink haired girl and what’s with the guy who’s with her? He just lets her walk all over him and everyone else. When the one couple and the pink girl were making statements to each other at the pit stop over the cab theft, the guy just stood there exuding “I don’t want to be here in the middle of this” body language - he didn’t say a thing.

I like the doctors and they’re in a pretty good position to win so far. I actually like all of them okay except for the pink girl.

I think I would be happy with anyone but Tim/Marie or the afghan guys who lie ALOT. I would be grateful if they would have a challenge where they have to shave their head to see her lose that pink streak.

I’ve noticed a lot of people saying that Tim and Marie are the mean ones. True, but during the argument at the pit stop in Vienna, Marie was doing all the yelling and Tim was just standing there. I’m sure he was upset, but he didn’t really draw attention to himself and I guess that’s good.

Another team noted that Tim and Marie were not wearing costumes when they arrived at the pit stop so they assumed it was because they used their Express Pass. Sometimes the Express Pass is like having the idol on Survivor. Other teams won’t help you at all, plus I think you tend to relax knowing you can use the pass when you run into the slightest problem. Nobody has held on to it for very long.
