Hayley asked Blair if they should go and follow one of the teams, but Blair seemed like he wanted her to make the decisions. In hindsight if they hurried back they could have either followed a team, or if the teams were gone, take the elevator to the 10th floor and spotted either the flags or the two teams’ cars. If that didn’t work proceed up to the top and do it again. They were lucky the crew was still around to let them do it over again.
I was born to do the stadium challenge. I would have caught one of the first two passes thrown to me, and I used to practice field goal kicking for hours. Maybe there should be an Over-50 Amazing Race?
I was thinking the football challenge would’ve been perfect for either DH or S1. DH was a receiver in HS and fooled around with kicking. S1 was a soccer player who joined his HS football team as a kicker his senior year, and played receiver on the scout team. Either one of them would’ve been as successful as Tyler.
I was pleased with the ending though I have to say I kind of grew to adore Blair. Tyler is DRIVEN and I loved his enthusiasm and hard work through the entire season - and Laura also rose to the challenge every time (that I can remember!).
I would love for them to bring Blair back sometime! Wonder what he would have done with the $$? Pay off med school bills?!
I don’t think anything is staged - nothing that would put a couple out of the running. The truck drivers suffered from bad luck. When Phil showed up I had totally forgot that he would appear someplace. Bummer for them!
Loved the piggyback ride for Haley at the end. What a good sport he was!
