I love this show! So glad it’s back.

I am so glad this show is back on. There is an interesting mix of couples on it this year.

Another fan here! I love seeing the different countries that they visit.

Love it too. This is the TV show that my son and I have enjoyed together (and talked about entering) for years.

I think I’ll be cheering for the Sibs, the Geek Gamers and the Frat Bros. How 'bout you?

I was hoping the frat boys got kicked off first. Anyone that says their favorite things are, "girls, beer and " hmmm, can’t remember #3 are pretty shallow in my book. I have no favorites yet. I sort of like it better when they get down to about 6 teams so you can follow them more closely.

No favorites yet, but I love the show. I am not a world traveler, so I love seeing all the places the teams travel to each week. I’m not sure if I have the right stuff to be on the show, but it sure would be an amazing adventure. There are too many teams right now, but I was sure sorry to see the first team leave. I thought they could be an interesting twosome.

Love it too! I definitely don’t have the right stuff to be on this show, but I agree it would be a great adventure. Haven’t seen tonight’s show yet (West Coast). Can’t wait.

archiemom, not sure yet who I’ll be cheering for, other than Nick and Starr, the brother and sister. We have a few friends who know Nick (he’s an actor in NY). It usually takes a few weeks for the personalities to come out to the extent that you can tell who you like and who you don’t! :)

Oh, and that detour tonight? Yikes!

I love this show, too! Gotta say, though, that the Hippies were destined to lose right away. I was a hippie back in the day, so it was nice to see they’re still around, but I think that laid back attitude is gone with the wind. They said they weren’t too laid back, but they moved pretty slowly. I liked the couple who won last night.

I would love to do AR, but I think I would be bad at it. Can’t ride a bike, can’t drive a stick.

Usually, I have a favorite team right off. Don’t feel strongly about anyone this year just yet, but like the geeks and Nick and Starr.

Also a fan of the show. DH thinks we should apply to do it, but I’m not at all athletic & can’t imagine doing some of those challenges. It would be fun, but I’d be so disappointed to be eliminated early…I’d want to do more traveling.

It usually takes me a few episodes to have a favorite team, so I’ll keep watching to see who stands out.

Now wouldn’t it be fun to have a CC team? Can’t you just hear Phil saying, “X and Y are online buddies and have never met before the race. Both are very knowledgeable about college admissions and are now competing due to empty nest syndrome and to avoid being a helicopter parent.”

I actually have an online friend who I tried to talk into doing it with me! Didn’t happen, and I doubt it could now because ds2 is old enough to do a family version, and he’d kill me if I did it without him.

Love Amazing Race. Haven’t picked a favorite yet. Knew the old couple wouldn’t last long. They were really sweet though.

H and I have met one of the contestants and we have several mutual friends; so naturally they are our favorites. I received at least a dozen phone calls Sunday reminding me to watch the show.

My family loves this show too and we always talk about how we should try out. Big problem for me is that I hate heights and would need to get seriously in shape.

Don’t have any favorites yet, but I already dislike Terence & Sarah. Both seem whiny. He complained when she was talking to others instead of him! Could be the editing that they have been set up to be villians, though.

Another Amazing Race fan; it’s been one of my favorite shows since it started. H and I always wonder about the editing process and how much added drama can be infused into just about any situation.

I’m continually “amazed” that these people aren’t more aware of constantly being filmed - the things they say and the way they behave. While I’m intrigued with the notion, I think I’d make a lousy contestant as I’d be way too inhibited and wouldn’t make for good TV.

Love the show too! No one stands out as an immediate favorite. D & I have fantasized about applying, but she can’t drive, doesn’t eat meat (or live snails) and I have a fear of heights. And we squabble. A lot. Especially under pressure. But we’re both resourceful, like to have a good time, and love the travel aspect, even if it’s at break-neck speed.

Can’t wait to become “invested” in a team or two.

Love the show! The only thing that drives me crazy about it is it’s always on sometimes after a sports show, so it you tape it or DVR it, you must tape the second show on after it, or you’ll never know who won! I can’t understand why CBS does this every year!
My son and husband would be great on it, I’ll watch them after :-).

One of the winners was a waiter at a local restaurant here. Cute nice kid.
