AMC 12

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but I want to take the AMC 12 test, but I have no clue where to start. My school doesn’t offer the test. Also, their website is a little confusing to me as to when the actual test date is.

Could anyone who’s taken it or is going to take it offer some advice?

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question.

I believe you can go to any testing site, you just need to figure out where it is, and hope there is one near you. I also believe there are two administration dates. If the AMC site is unclear, you may be able to get more specific answers from the students at the Art of Problem solving site since many of them are into these competitions.

Yes, but that doesn’t mean that your school can’t offer the test. See if you can get them to register you for the test, even if it means you paying for some or all of it.

There are A and B test dates; it should be absolutely clear. You can take either or both of the A and B tests, but you can only take one of 10A/12A and one of 10B/12B (since some questions overlap).

You’re right, you’re at the wrong place to ask the question. There’s a website called google that offered virtually every link that exists on the internet. Why don’t you search up AMC testing opportunities on Google instead of on a forum where over 90% of the people are morally deficit teens who exaggerate their skills/abilities almost 24/7? Tsk tsk

You can take the AMC 12 at a college or university near where you live.
