Oh no. I just saw a “spoiler” list of the top 24 and Cody Fry is not on it. I sure hope it is wrong.
I just looked at the spoiler list too, and I don’t see him. I see Jax, who I don’t think is that good, and not Jaq, who I think is better. I think I see that woman who freaked out and almost passed out on there (why???), and several women that I don’t recognize. Recognize all of the guys, I think. From the looks of it, I think a guy is going to win this year again.

Sorry, too late to edit or delete. However, the list I looked at was pretty old, and I have no idea if it is accurate or not. Maybe this stuff is just out there to mess with the fans.
Jax gets a lot of air time. AI is really playing her up.
So they didn’t really “show” who made the top 48 Thursday - I was under the impression we’d actually see them in a group or something. They are obviously playing up some more than others.
Wonder if it’s a new component how they showed the judges sitting on that pretty couch talking to a few of the contestants individually? I kind of like that they get to know the contestants outside of their music. It’s all part of the “it” factor, right???!
Did they put Alexis through? She’s the one with the anxiety attacks and sang in the wrong key, twice, during the solo round. I don’t remember seeing her group results.

I liked this final elimination format better than in years past, but not happy that my favorite did not make it. 
I did not like the sing off.
I didn’t like the sing off either, it was painful. And how cruel to send the poor girl home knowing she would have been number 24.
Wow… Tyanna is terrific. What a performer, what a back story. I like her Janelle Monae sense of style.
I thought so many of the performers who went through were doing karaoke night at the House of Blues and are not Idol-worthy.
I agree. I really like Tyanna, and have since the first time I saw her. I really like Rayvon too. He is phenomenal and I think he will make it to the last few.
But yeah, some of them were not impressive at all. Fortunately they have those two to pull them through. I guess in the end, you only need a couple that have talent.

Yes, definitely. And what’s even more pathetic is that both girls are very pretty, but the one who got chose just had a more creative outfit and hairstyle. Do they really think that’s what it comes down to, someone’s “look”?
I was surprised at both of their song choices in the sing-off. Poor and poorer. Neither girl seemed to really put much fight into their performance either. The shoulder shrug at the end almost came across as apologetic (don’t recall which one).
The shoulder shrug came by the girl who lost. She didn’t even have a song in mind to sing, and it sounded like she was completely surprised by this, and was almost embarrassed by having to do it. I guess she hasn’t watched enough AI to know you always have to have something in your pocket.
In my opinion, neither of those girls should have been chosen for the final 24.
I think I like more of the boys than the girls.
I thought the young girl country singer that they did not put through was better than the two in the sing-off.
They seem to have a lot of teenagers this year
