<p>After some of his comments after he won, I’m thinking that Scotty and Lauren might be a couple. Anyone else catch that?</p>
<p>I couldn’t believe how they kept pulling star after star out of their hat to perform. At that rate, I figured the Beatles would be the next act on–dead ones and all!</p>

<p>I think Scotty and Lauren are a couple. I’m pretty sure they kissed on the lips there too…I guess we’ll soon see 'cause if they are, he sure isn’t keeping it under wraps.</p>
<p>I think Scotty and Lauren were acting more like two kids very fond of each other, and Lauren was clearly happy for him. I would compare it to cousins that like each other a lot and don’t get to see each other often. When they flashed to their hometown audiences that were at a stadium, it was clear that Scotty’s stadium bordered on crazed. I think Scotty is a really good performer, has a solid voice (and amazing low notes) that will only get better with experience. I think he is the right winner of the two. This also allows Lauren a chance to be out of the direct spotlight while she gets used to the concept of being famous. She also has a lot of talent, but needs a bit more maturing before she can handle this kind of stuff without her mom. I cannot imagine my 15/16 year old daughter (now 19) being able to handle the spotlight that young, not having come from a show business world, but with a few years of experience and success, Lauren will be amazing. I can’t wait for Haley and Casey to come to town though!</p>

<p>Speaking of sexual intimacy, what did you think of Jennifer Lopez dancing around her husband? I found it embarrassing. It just seems odd to me for a 40-year old mother of two to shake her bottom like that on national TV.</p>
<p>I think that Scotty’s win does not bode well for Patrick Thomas on The Voice. They sound a lot a like.</p>
<p>I’ve never cared much for Mark Antony and although I like Jennifer, I agree with mimk6. That was a bit much for me. TMI!!</p>
<p>Admittedly, I watched very little of Idol this season and I don’t like country. But, I always thought Scotty was a “star.” I don’t “get” Lauren. She is talented but I don’t find anything unique about her or her voice.</p>
<p>Ugghh! JLo and Mark Anthony were really bad. If we search through 10 years of AI I bet there is not a single mention of him…anywhere. Then his wife is a judge and magically he shows up in the finally as a star performer? Give me a break! And I agree her dance costume didn’t do much to cover her arse on primetime. That was bad form…very bad. He just gets creepier and creepier.</p>
<p>I have to say, I liked her as a personality on AI much more then I have ever liked her as a performer and much more than I thought I would.</p>
<p>I hope that next year they have some judges that actually can do the work and aren’t completely obsessed with their own self promotion. From Randy always bragging about his prior work, Steven so in love with himself he’s always mouthing something to the camera and saying ridiculous phrases, and Jennifer (though she is the best of the three) doing her, “look at my scantily clad body, I’m a diva,” act…it would be great to have someone who can actually give valid critiques and not be focused on themselves.</p>

<p>I found it creepy and weird for some reason. Not just because it was her hubby up there, though that was part of it, but watching J Lo shake her booty close-up seemed really strange and odd after watching her as a judge. </p>
<p>Apparently it was a preview to some show they are going to be taking on the road.</p>
<p>Although I like all the judges as well, I agree with busdriver11, too much self promotion. BUT, I did love Steven singing Dream On last night. Classic.</p>

<li>I think Jennifer Lopez is truly beautiful - whether un-made-up or fully made up; but I did <em>not</em> enjoy watching her spectacle of moves last night.</li>
<li>I surprised myself at how happy I was for Scotty and that he won. I was not a fan of his at the beginning or middle of the season, but I think he is far and away the choice between these two.</li>
<li>I thought the only great performance last night was Haley, with Tony Bennett. The rest didn’t even hold my interest well enough to lay off the fast forward button. I used it a LOT.</li>

<p>There’s no way they’re dating. Scotty’s way out of her league, and she’s way too immature for him. Scotty has class.</p>
<p>I really enjoyed seeing Carrie Underwood. She’s definitely some of the best talent to come out of all ten seasons. I also really enjoyed Beyonce.</p>
