<p>Plus, this is a down time for college topics. College admissions have been sent out, decisions already made by students as to which college to attend, financial aid worked out–but it’s still too early for XL sheets and packing the family van.</p>

<p>Yeah - I thought they were really good and it looked like they almost shocked the AI crowd in the studio with their performance. After a quick web search I found that there’s a youtube of that AI performance. I wanted to show it to my D.</p>
<p>Apparently they had done an impromptu performance at The Grove, a shopping center in LA right next to the old Farmers Market, which I’ve been to before, and it wow’ed that crowd who obviously weren’t expecting it. These guys will do well!</p>
<p>Not that it is strictly AI news, but I just read that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are getting divorced. Yeesh–why put us through that hot dance number in the AI finale a little over a month ago?</p>

<p>Movie stars aren’t the only ones who have surprised me with divorce news. I guess you really don’t know what goes on behind closed doors…</p>
<p>I’m rarely surprised by news like this but I think J-Lo should give up on the institution of marriage. Three divorces by age 41 is not a great track record.</p>
<p>I remember when I saw them perform on AI that I was thinking Marc didn’t look at her as lovingly as I would have thought being her husband. My husband’s eyes were popping out when she did that jiggly dance at the end of their performance, and Marc just seemed to be in stage-husband mode. Yes, they acted a little sexy at the end towards each other, but something was off about it. Sorry to see them part ways, because at least on paper they seemed to have a lot going for them. LMNOP, I think you said it best, we just don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, and nor should we.</p>
