<p>My DH and I are healthy, and gainfully employed.
My DD is healthy, and happy enough to skip coming home for Thanksgiving for the first time.
My parents are in a place where they are looked after very well, and are able to afford it.
My brothers are supportive of me in my role as adult-child-on-site.

<p>I have too much to be thankful for to even try to make a list. We (my family) are all free, safe, healthy, happy and well fed and everyone is doing well in the things that they do. We are truly (if there is such a thing… ) blessed!</p>
<p>I am grateful for my wonderful husband of 41 years who has been with me through all the ups and downs of our life, for better or worse, in sickness and in health.
I am thankful that my son has found a wonderful young woman to spend his life with, and that they have made the decision to marry.

<p>I am thankful that my husband and kids are healthy, gainfully employed and generally happy.</p>
<p>I am not thankful that I got a new diagnosis. But I am thankful that I am stronger and getting stronger everyday with a new exercise routine and I live in a place where I have access to the newest and best drugs.</p>
<p>I am so thankful (and amused) that my son likes my cooking better than his girlfriend who is a chef. Who knew?</p>
<p>I am thankful that I can support friends who are having their own issues and need a support system.</p>
<p>I’m thankful that junior year actually feels a lot less stressful than sophomore year. Not only am I doing fine in my 4 AP classes, but I’m also have the love and support of my family. </p>

<p>Not such a thankful year-son arrested on felony charges and will go to prison for 2.5-3 years. At least he is living with us for now until prison, so we are spending lots of time together. Please don’t ask about what he did,but it was white collar stuff. We will all be together this year for Thanksgiving, and it will be the first time 2 of his 3 siblings will have seen him since the arrest. I am not angry for the stupid thing he did,just really sad as this will be with him for the rest of his life.</p>
<p>I am thankful for my job in my new department and how well it is going.
I am thankful for my friends and coworkers who have helped pave my way these last few weeks.
I am thankful that we found a beautiful home this year, and for the sense of peace it brings us.
I am thankful to have such a supportive family, especially these last few weeks as I suddenly found myself without a car.
I am thankful for the new car I am picking up on Friday. It will be the first time I have driven a car I felt safe in in two years, my first ever new car, and I couldn’t have done it if my father and boyfriend hadn’t dropped everything this week to help me.</p>
<p>My D just told me two days ago that she and her long time BF have decided to marry–I’m very happy for them as they make a great pair.</p>
<p>I’m thankful for my wonderful husband and “kids” (grown as they are). I’m thankful that we’re all in good health and employed, and that my mom is still in doing well and able to live independently.</p>
<p>I’m thankful we weren’t harmed by Sandy, and I’m hopeful that my beloved state will be able to put itself right.</p>

<p>It has been a difficult year for our family health-wise but in comparison to others we have much to be grateful for, especially the wonderful drug rep who just gave my daughter a $300 a day drug our insurance won’t cover. I am grateful for our family, all here for Thanksgiving. And everyone here on CC who continue to help through my children’s educational adventures.</p>
<p>I am VERY thankful for my health. Since I see so many unhealthy people due to the nature of my job, it realllly puts things in perspective.
