Haley will call him daddy. At 10 months, I doubt she’s that precocious.
I was always asked who was taking care of my kids when I traveled for work. My husband never was.
I guess some things are the same for celebrities as they are for the rest of us.
I can’t believe y’all think Today is newsy. All the fluff is one of the reasons I left NBC and ABC in the morning and have opted for CBS. No one dresses in costumes.
And, wow, y’all think these highly paid anchors couldn’t afford a nanny to accompany them to South Korea? Or wouldn’t rely on family and friends here or abroad? I had the opportunity to work the Atlanta Olympics for a month when my kids were 16 months and 4. Their dad handled it just fine. And I had a once-in-a-lifetime career highlight.
I personally don’t care for CBS news (and prefer our local ABC station, especially for weather, so watch that in the am as they toggle back and forth). But I did love the Atlanta olympics. Have lots of memorabilia and souvenirs.
I also prefer out local ABC affiliate. I watch it before the CBS national show starts.
@skieurope A daughter (Valentine’s Day bday) at 10 1/2 months probably has “dada” (likely first word), “mama” and “no” down pat. Not the full daddy but she knows who dada is by now and can use “dada” correctly and that power word “no” and other little words. Usually the baby girls are quick with this.

I too think Hoda should break free of Kathy Lee. It appeared to me that KL treated her as sort of a side kick although Hoda is way more interesting and insightful. I don’t have a steady diet of daytime TV and only watch in between projects, but I don’t think KL does women any favors. Agree the morning wine is just ridiculous. Personally I think KL is too.
Thank you for saying that HM. I’ve never watched more than a few minutes of the show, and it seemed like they were targeting a different demographic than mine.
Hoda needs to give up the 10 o’clock show so she can be taken more seriously on the 7-9 portion of Today. Or maybe that’s just me. I want her to succeed during the first two hours, and would be happy if she focused on honing her more serious interview questions.
I like Hoda. She seems real. I think the 10:00 show with just KL would falter, unless they find a good co-star. If Hoda hadn’t been promoted, I was hoping for Willie Geist.
