Another wedding etiquette thread – this time about tipping

<p>Thanks for sharing a valuable perspective here, younghoss. A wedding is pretty chaotic and there’s lots of room for differing interpretations of what happened. Post 72 is probably the most logical explanation for my negative followup experience.

Not every big company cares what the little guy thinks, even at the cost of some negative publicity and future business. Though they can’t count on always being the big guy. </p>

<p>We provided vendor meals for our DJs and photographers, and would have expected to feed you if you’d been our DJ! :slight_smile: Ours were awesome and adhered to the bride and groom’s wishes to the letter, even when guests requested songs that they’d vetoed. They honored a request to play “In the Mood” and my BIL and SIL dazzled us with the results of their ballroom dance lessons. No kidding, they were amazing and it was a great moment. I feel better remembering that there were many of those at our reception, too.</p>
