If you were to only submit your ACT scores and SATIIs you would look wayyy better.

Do you think I shot myself in the foot by submitting my SAT scores?

They’ll only look at what helps you. Holistic system

I’m pretty sure UC’s do NOT allow score choice. You are REQUIRED to send in ALL standardized test scores you have taken.

Well I’m hoping colleges see the jump up 100 points. I just wanna get in…these days pass by so slowly

anyone else want to soothe my soul?

and will my act/sat scores make up for my slighty-under average gpa?

Ah Fredferd! I feel your pain!! These days are going waaaaay too slowly! My daughter is cool as a cucumber. Absolutely calm, calm, calm. Me? I’m a wreck! My daughter says I need to chillax but she has worked so hard for this moment that I can’t be calm. It is such an exciting time!! I’m sending happy thoughts your way that the next 12 days will go by quickly for you! Oh, and BTW, what does “late evening” mean to UCLA? I know what it means to me: It means checking the computer every 5 minutes!! :)

i know! i am painfully aware of every passing second.

I think you are a better candidate than I was when I applied.

when did you apply?

I have a couple of questions:
Will they look at my ACT score (99th %ile for that test) and sort of disregard my SAT score? Or does the fact that I have two consistently “low” SAT scores make my ACT seem like a fluke?
I also have 1 C for the first semester of pre cal but also scored a 3 on the CALC ab test the same year. How does that look?
Does leadership in band have any weight? Or my internship?
I was also waitlisted at UCSD and rejected by Davis. What does that mean for UCLA?

holy… 36 in science? That’s crazy good.

UC’s look at UW GPA very heavily, but who knows. Your UC GPA is up there and your extra currics are super solid. Good luck for Friday! I think you have a great chance.

Do you mean they look heavily on cumulative unweighted GPA or unweighted 10-11 GPA?

Freshman year isn’t included, so 10-11.
