I got spring admit today.
I’m still on forwarded (since 3/25).
I feel happy that I got in, but a little sad that I got spring.
What am I supposed to do for a whole semester??

does eveeeryone have the events tab?

Have fun, extra long summer break

It seems to me that a majority of those who have been accepted today are from the CA region and have been admitted for the spring semester. According to previous posts, they all still have the “forwarded” status…

I was rejected, but I will be fine

Here is the official statement from my letter about the stats of the accepted students:

"Numbers do not tell the whole story, but you may find them helpful. We received nearly 36,000 applications from students all around the world. To enroll a class of 2,600 freshmen, we offered admission to roughly 8,00 students. In other words, we had to turn away about 75 percent of the students who wanted to enroll here. Of those offered admission, most achieved nearly straight-A averages and SAT scores at or above the 97th percentile.

In addition to grades and test scores, we considered many other factors presented in your application materials. Ours ias a qualitative process, in which opinions are weight with facts. Your application was carefully, respectfully, and thoughtfully reviewed multiple times, by many individuals."

So, that is the official word on the accepted freshmen stats.

^ i noted that too…it is a slightly disappointing trend =/

rejected =(
this sucks… oh well, there’s always grad school

Rejected. I am thinknig about an appeal.

I’m still waiting on the mail guy. :-/.
I really don’t think I’m gonna get in.
My test scores were awful, and my grades aren’t that special.
But it’d be cool to get in since a lot of mean girls (they do exist!) at my school found out I applied to USC, and actually laughed and said “Objectively speaking? Get real.”
I think I applied just to see if I could do it, if my films really were as good as everyone says.
:-/.
I think the most disappointing part about possibly being rejected wouldn’t be that I didn’t get in, it’d be that those mean girls were right.

My d got a letter from USC today. (we’re in socal) I don’t want to open it, but I’m wondering if it’s for spring admission. It feels thicker than a regular rejection letter. If you don’t mind, would you please describe the contents of your letter.

Thanks

So apparently some people have the event tab and some people don’t, can you guys check and see if you have it please?

I have the events tab and I got accepted into Spring Semester today.

The mail guy is in my neighborhood, I’m scared.
:-/.
I have the events tab, yes.
It just has the little picture links to like “Meet USC,” “Encounter USC,” and “Campus Walking Tour.”

anyone else getting clammy and/or sick from the wait? my status is STILL at forwarded… and frankly, i’m getting nervous. still got an hour till the mail man comes. i’ll be restless till then. x.x

and @ werty1992: i think you should. can’t hurt to try!

plushminkie, does your Events tab show the same content as Faith101’s does as she stated in the post right after yours?

Yes, that’s all I have under the events tab.

yeah for those of you that have the ‘events tab’ what does it show? and for those of you rejected, do you have this tab at all?

rejected =[ all this waiting for a rejection, but life goes on.

@ jackdaniels Yes, I was rejected and the events tab is still there. It consists of the three links: meet usc, encounter usc, and campus walking tour.

i’m sorry to hear that music /: did you have the events tab?
