<p>So, I know all the kids at Pomona are brilliant! I’m just wondering whether any of you have experience (direct or indirect) with LD services for some of these Einsteins? Some very high achieving students have processing differences that are quite marked and either need help with text-to-speech applications (for dyslexics) or extended time on testing in some areas. Know of anyone who received this sort of support while at Pomona? What was their experience like?</p>
<p>I think Stanford says that about 15% of its students make us of services through their Schwab-funded LD center. Makes sense to me, given the peaks and valleys of this highly gifted group.</p>
