For those of you who are/were FIITJEE Pinnacle students:

How has been your experience with FIITJEE Pinnacle? Is there a lot of homework to the extent of not leaving much free time for other activities like Olympiads, SAT preparation etc.? Is the teaching good?

Is being part of Pinnacle helped you in your goals of seeking admission in U.S. universities or has it hurt it, or just neutral?

Though I am a prospective graduate, not an undergrad student for US admissions, I was a FIITJEE pinnacle student.

I liked the course a lot. Contrary to not having time for other activities, I found that the course was structured in a way in which you actually got MORE time to do other stuff. This is because all your learning is done in one place. You don’t need to go to a separate coaching class for every subject.

Also, we were protected a lot in college because of FIITJEE. We did not have to do college homework, attend college classes or even give college mid term tests. In that sense, we did miss out on the once in a lifetime junior college experience. But no worries, the amount of time it saves is excellent.

I gave SAT without any prep, just as a last resort in case I did not make it in JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT or CET. I got 2110. There was another guy in our class who did prep for SAT, though I don’t know his score.

FIITJEE was the most terrible thing that ever happened to me. I quit mid-way. I didn’t want to waste two years of my HS preparing for an exam based on its merit I would be a random major. No thanks.
