Are there any super success stories out there (eg. international winning merit FT, FR or similar)? Are winners of major invitational scholar programs mainly (like 100%) US applicants?

What universities will consider an international applicant in the same pool for merit $ as US students?

Interested in chemical engineering. Family can not afford EFC, so only merit
scholarship can make a difference. Good stats (SAT 2360, gpa 4.6/4)
Thank you.

hmm…a really good SAT score n good GPA…high chances…I guess u also need to take SAT2 isnt it?..well,if u work out on ur ECs n the essays a little…then I guess even MIT wont hav a problem acceptin u…n bout aid…forget bout the merit thing(use it in the app) if ur applyin to a need-blind uni…they will afford ALL ur costs if u require(provided u get in)…else there r many colleges which provide merit scholarship(s)…from my side, apply to Ivies…u will surely get in a good one…(dont forget MIT.)…

where are u from huh?!.. if u are probably from Asia u will have to compete with thousands of great applicants… if ur from south america or africa or Europe, it’s 4 sure u have great chances!!!..
