Anyone else do worse on the SAT than they thought?

I took the June 6th Physics SAT and thought I did pretty well. My practice test indicated between 720 and 740, and I thought I did better on the actual test, so I was expecting a 750+. Imagine my surprise when I checked my score to find that it was a 690-- which is too bad to send to colleges, etc., and really just means we wasted our money. So I’m a little ticked off. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I’m really upset. I got a 610 on the physics SAT. I took AP Physics 1 but I studied all the other topics on my own and felt really good about them. I consistently scored in the high 700s on all the practice tests I took. I actually felt good after the test so its so annoying to do this terribly on it.

I took the SAT Bio and the exam was easier than the CB practice test. On practice, I scored a 770 and on test day I scored an 800.

I took SAT I and got a 2070. I guess I thought I did better, especially on CR, on which I got a 630. But with the whole sections 9/10 incident, I expect CB had a lot to handle these past few weeks.

Are you all planning to verify your scores?

@joeweller I don’t really see the point… I’m waiting for the score analysis first.

I would recommend using a Barron’s practice book. I used it for Chemistry, and it is supposed to be much harder than the actual test. When I went into the actual test, it was a relief to see how easy it was comparatively and how much the practice book prepared me

@gotmar the analysis is basically worthless. I so much expected a 750+ on bio m given that I prepared hardcore, came off ap and honors bio, and had most of my hard questions confirmed with the sat bio thread. I was shocked to see I got a 660. There’s a difference of -14 between 660 and 740. That’s the 50th percentile as well. I know I smashed that test, so it’s not going to hurt just to check if I misbubbled or some shit. I was literally in shock for 10 mins after I saw my scores
