Anyone Else with Problematic Parents?

<p>I having real problems with my parents convincing them about my plans for going to college in America. They are mainly worried about the cost as I’m financing it myself and with a soccer scholarship. I’ve already been accepted and went to visit in July while I was at a soccer camp. </p>

<p>Anyone else having problems, or are there parents being supportive?</p>

<p>I had problems earlier, but they’re pretty supportive now… what they worried about was in terms of the time I’d spent on my applications, SAT’s etc. affecting my marks at school. It was always understood that if I go there it has to be on substantial financial aid.</p>
