<p>Should I bring my Dad? I know they have a parental tour or something but I don’t know if there’s a point. He’s not a helicopter parent who’s obsessed with my every decision, but he is driving on Saturday. Thanks.</p>
<p>Parents are more interested in the Financial Aid session. There are different programs for prospect students and for parents.</p>
<p>If you have registered, you should have received the information package by e-mail with link to download the program for TechDay. The separated programs for student and for family are listed on the first 2 pages of the package.</p>
<p>Alopez - maybe your father would rather spend time in Detroit, propping up the economy :)</p>
<p>^ LOL. FYI, the Financial Aid session is regarding the cost of study at UMich, not City of Detroit.</p>
<p>The TechDay this year turned out to be very well. It made a new record of 718 registered students plus 700+ family members. Good job everyone.</p>
