Anyone Have Those 'I Would Rather Burn in a Fire then go to School Today' Days?

Seems to happen to me frequently. I wake up and just want to sit in bed and sleep, yet I pull myself out of bed with some heroic effort, then plop out to my carpool…

Some days I am absolutely sick of school, homework, ec’s, etc. and just sit at home and do absolutely nothing. Anyone just feel no motivation some days?

edit: probably doesn’t help I take a fairly rigorous course load… but my school is pretty difficult all things considered (best in state, 30 average on the ACT, etc.)

I had one today, but luckily I pulled my arse out of bed and it turned out just fine. It always helps me when, instead of reseting my alarm or pressing snooze, I get up and turn on the hallway lights. Then I brush my teeth. Then I wash my face. Then I get dressed. Etc, etc. Get ready in phases–it lessons the blow!

oh yeah…that’s like me and my friends, all the time, 24/7…i can’t wait to graduate…i just can’t wait for the holidays and not having to worry about applications, or my mom running after me with schools she wants me to look at.

yeah, well i don’t want to burn in a fire…but yes it is hard to get up in the morning. I have a few things I am looking forward to so I imagine “this is one last task before you get to x!”

i’ve also found getting a job makes waiting more tolerable.

At least a fire would be over sooner…

i doubt burning in a fire would make school any easier. i’d probably have my mom call me in sick.

i had one of those today. ): i didn’t go to my first class, though…which was probably a mistake.

Yeah, sometimes…although I’m only a sophomore, can’t think like that yet…two more years…
