Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

If anything, they’re really good with replying quickly with their emails. But I feel like they’d be more upfront and less vague if you called!

Thank you guys for the number and encouragement, ill call soon and ask because they wait in so painful

What’s CPP’s admission offices’ email? I can’t seem to find it :/…

any first time freshman for chemistry major been accepted yet?

Aright guys I called just how you told me to the admissions office and they would not tell me my status.

They said they cannot tell me that, I have to keep waiting until later on. And if they dont get back to me before May 1 that i should go somewhere else.

Wow i feel like crap and idk what ima do

Wow that sucks. I guess it just depends on who you get on the phone. And yes, they may get to you later than May 1st so if that’s your first choice school, you may have to pay enrollment to your 2nd choice until Cal Poly responds. Of course that means you would have to forfeit $100 enrollment to your 2nd school and pay another $100 if you get in Cal Poly. This happens a lot to people. Especially people that are waitlisted at their first choice school. Lol, last year my sister got waitlisted for Irvine and then got accepted two days before Enrollment Deadline. She had already paid $100 for UCSC enrollment and she ended up not changing schools because she didnt want to go through the hassle of filling forms to tell UCSC that she didnt want to go their school anymore. Plus, she didnt want to spend an extra $100. But in my opinion, $100 is worth sacrificing in order to go to your first choice school.

What is the process when you want to cancel the enrollment in your second choice if pomona waits out?

First time poster!

@dimas1227 I would want to know the same thing … CSUN’s my second choice and intent to register’s not due till July but I certainly wanna accept way before that for a better registration date … But I really would prefer Pomona so I want to also know how that process would be …

Accepted! Got an email last night.

Transfer student

3.17 GPA
Philosophy major
Strong extracurriculars- Small business owner for 4 years, played 2 years of Junior College football, won the State championship both years.

I called them just now and they said that we will receive something by May 1st.

@Dimas I don’t know because I havent gone through the process and every school is different. When the time comes, just call the school and ask them what you need to do to withdraw your enrollment. :)

@SpencerStueve CSU doesn’t care about extracurriculars. Admission is based only on coursework/GPA
