Anyone know where Dean Greg Robert's office is?

The UVa directory doesn’t have an office location or a phone number. Any ideas?

The Admissions Office is in Peabody Hall, according to the website, but that doesn’t automatically mean that Dean (or Assoc. Dean) Robert’s office is there.

Gregory W. Roberts
Associate Dean of Admissions
Chief Transfer Admissions Officer
Office of Admissions
Peabody Hall
McCormick Road
University of Virginia
Charlottesville, VA 22903

(434) 982-3200 [general number]

Peabody Hall is building 32 on the campus map.

Directions to Peabody Hall are available at
http://www.virginia.edu/undergradadmission/directions.html

Why not just e-mail him at groberts@virginia.edu and ask where his office is. It’s common for a Dean’s phone number to be protected, but usually the office/room number is available as part of the mailing address. But UVA is a large school and obviously protects such information.

Thanks for that info - I’ll just get there early and check out Peabody Hall. I actually had been in email contact and asked specifically where he was located, but he did not answer that question. Plus he’s a busy person, so I don’t want to send a barrage of emails to him for something I can do myself (with the help of CCers, of course).

Thanks again.

Haha, here is a picture of Peabody Hall. It doesn’t look super big, two floors at most. A receptionist at the building entrance probably screens all people and appointments anyway and will direct you to Dean Roberts’ office.

Its near between Newcomb and the Lawn … I guess thats the best I could describe it since I dont’ know too many other landmarks yet haha - its fairly simple to spot and theres a sign outside that says admissions office. :D
