Which is the best book for USH; also is it possible to self-study for USH. I was initially planning to take WH but it isn’t offered in Jan, I am now thinking of taking USH: How much time will i need to prepare for it?

i took it today. it’s mad. 27 omits (so low 700s if i got all right. wishful thinking). self-studying won’t replace class.

My school doesn’t holds class for USH:(
Which book will you recommend for USH; i have heard Barron’s is quiet good.

Abhisiv I got 94 % ICSE good grades in History .Seniors on this very forum warned me not to go for USH and like tthey say fools rush in where angels fear to trad. I went ahead for USH and its crazy absolutely mad , course is huge and in my opinon school classes are must for USH . I was literally tearing my hairs ou tring to cover three thick books. Took up enormous amount of time and left me exhausted
.
Now for you question
!st rank USH kaplan
worst patterson

baron never tied but Pinceton is kinda okayish

i second kaplan, but no book will replace class. how the hell are you supposed to determine the painter of an american piece of art they show you?

I suggest not going for it, go for Literature instead. Self-prep is sufficient.

Yeah, i went through the sample paper and it contained a lot of trivia questions. Time period covered in USH is less but it’s covered with a lot of depth. I would take Literature or Chemistry instead.
