I just applied to IU about a month ago, and on November 28th I received the e-mail that says they have everything and they will have a decision in about 3-6 weeks. I am going insane. IU is my top school to go to college at. It also is the school where I can truly see myself at, not only is the campus beautiful…it just seems friendly.

Are there any ideas that you all have that could help me out with these nerves?!

Anything will help, or I believe it will.

Thanks.

Apply to other schools that you wouldn’t mind going to for a few years. Know that if you dont get in at first, you can always transfer in after a few semesters. Just don’t think about it too much, you’ve done your part, now its just time to sit back and wait, there’s nothing more you can do.

Have you been admitted?

Well I got admitted. Just apply to some local college that you know you’ll get into for sure. For me, it wasn’t as much as “oh man I hope i get here” but more like “oh man I can’t believe I’m going to college.” That fine line was broken when I got accepted to my first place. All of that anxiety just went away and I just thought “hmm, well I can only go up from here.”

Trust me; it’ll get better.

I got admitted to Western Michigan University.
That’s just to make a few of my friends happy, and also to give me more confidence. I just don’t think that I can see myself there…
