OK, so I’m a rising senior and I’m making final preparations for my class schedule.
AP European History
AP Calc AB or Honors Calculus
English 4 Academic or Expository Writing (Honors)
Honors Economic Seminar
Principles of Engineering (PLTW)
Ceramics and Sculpture
Gym 4
So I wanted to enter AP Calc but I couldn’t (at the moment) receive a waiver to place into it. I was considering waivering into Expository Writing (based off of Expository Writing 100 and 101 from Rutgers) because of the AP history course but I wasn’t sure (Honors English is recommended for AP, but not required. I was not placed into Expos because of my “work ethic”) but I heard its really difficult and all the seniors that take it work their butts off for a B+ (A’s are rare). So I was wondering if I should stay in Honors Calc and waiver into Expository Writing, (hopefully) take AP Calc and Expos, or take AP Calc and academic English. I want to work, but I don’t want to stress myself out my final year of high school (I haven’t taken honors classes since 9th grade).
