AP Calculus AB and BC?

I’m currently making my schedule for senior year and wanted to know if taking calculus BC online(FLVS) with AB will be overwhelming?

Senior Year Schedule will look like:
A.P Spanish
A.P Calculus AB
A.P Chemistry
A.P Biology
A.P Macroeconomics and Governement
A.P Literature

Consider AB = Calc 1 and BC = Calc 1+2. Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 are generally meant to be taken sequentially, not concurrently.

Your schedule without taking an online course will be overwhelming. For starters, don’t take AP Bio and AP Chem concurrently. In addition to the time commitment required by virtue of being AP’s, each requires a lot of time for labs and lab reports. For many schools, these classes are either double-periods, or require additional time before/after school.

Since the FLVS Calc BC course covers the AB topics, if you take BC through FLVS, there is no need to take AB.

Additionally, I always advise students choosing senior classes not to overlook the hidden class of College Applications when making course selections.
