How many is too many? I’m thinking of taking 4 or 5 next year but I still want to have a social life! What did you guys take? Thinking of bio gov calc ab psych and maybe Econ

I’m taking 5 and my social life is 10x better than last year when I was taking 3. It really depends

I took seven my senior year. Was still able to play varsity football, compete on varsity academic team, get a 2200 on SAT, and hangout with friends at all the big school events.

I took:
Calc BC
Chem
Gov
Econ
Lit
Psych
Stat

Got fives on all of them except stats.

In short: yes, it can be done.

It depends on how homework intensive your classes are.
Last year, as a sophomore, I took 3 AP’s, Calc BC, Lang and Euro, and did alright in terms of still having free time.
This year I have 3 AP’s + 2 dual enrollment classes (AP Lit, Chem, Physics C + Calc III and PDE’s dual enrolled) which is actually way more difficult to balance than last year because of the work load, which is why you can’t really tell until you take the class (or ask someone who has)
