AP class in summer

<p>This summer I’m taking a community college class on World History which is UC/CSU transferable.

  1. Should I try for the AP in May, almost 10 months after the summer school class ends? I was thinking I could buy one of the review books and just start that a few weeks before.
  2. Is it worth it to take the AP test? I would only do it if it were to increase the chances of colleges accepting the credit. I can’t directly inquire yet because I’m just a freshman.</p>

<p>It’s worth it if you may end up going to a private uni or an OOS public.</p>

<p>You really don’t need to take the AP then, since most colleges will still take the college credit.</p>
