<p>I go to a public high school and many AP classes are only available to certain grade levels, but I keep hearing about people who take 11 or more AP classes in high school. Is it possible to learn the course at home or online and then take the AP Test? Thanks!</p>

<p>At my school, you can only take AP classes in 11th and 12th grade. You can self study for an AP class using prep books too.</p>
