<p>hi, I was wondering about taking ap exams of courses for which I did have classes. I am preparing for them independently, but I am not sure whether I will do well or not (hopefully I will). But if I don’t do great (get 2s or 1s) would the colleges hate me? I am currently a senior so I don’t think it would have any effect on my admission, but would there be any problems in the future to come?</p>
<p>you answered your own question… as a senior, a low score will not affect your admissions. you won’t get any credit for such a score, though.</p>
<p>ok, let’s say I get into XYZ college and my guidance counselor take a look at my ap scores to see if I am eligible to skip any classes, would my poor ap scores (along with some 4s and 5s) destroy my reputation in her eye</p>
