<p>public high school sucks, the people who are in public middle schools now better get into prep schools. My middle school was OK but now in high school there are so many drugs, and fights. Every month the police bring dogs in to sniff for drugs… And lunch time is prime-time for fights. There is like one each week.</p>
<p>that sounds depressingly EXACTLY like my high school. I remember when I saw my first fight as a fledgling freshman. it was messy.</p>
<p>I go to a private schools and since its filled with rich spoiled kids who think they can do whatever they want, the police often bring dogs and people (including middle school students) are caught by teachers doing bad things.</p>
<p>I go to a terrible public high school filled with exetremly rich drug addicts and alcholic hos (there were like 5 pregnant girls last year and sooooo many pple get kicked out for drugs every year and their parents houses are full of booze) who love to have fights and make out on tables and have sex in the auditorium, with terrible teachers (one had an affair with a girl’s mom AND the girl, one did donuts in a resteraunt parking lot with a bus with 60 kids on it (AMAZING fun, btw :D) another “resigned” because she talked on the phone the entire class period and another got 10 questions wrong on the final exam)
and this is one of the best schools in my state.</p>
<p>You can see why I want to leave.</p>
<p>the kids at my school are stupid. If you want to hide the fact that you smoke pot, don’t smoke at the bus stop… Some of the kids at my school just don’t care. We have had a couple bomb threats too… I once had to stay later in my history class to finish a test (I had extra time since I had lunch/study after it) and the regular/lowest level class came in for their class and I thought I was gonna get shot. (ugh - I really hate my school) If I don’t get in anywhere I am going to die/beg my parents to move to another state/ beg my parents to home school me or stay in my current school and get addicted to heroin.</p>
<p>omg!!! so many kids smoke pot at the bustop and get high before school and deal drugs on the bus and in the lunchroom at my school!!</p>
<p>People get high in the bathrooms at my school. You can smell and even see the smoke but NO ONE CARES . The school administration always say that it is just from the science labs, even when we had midterms and everyone was taking a test and even though the science labs are on the other side of the school…</p>
<p>and seriously if you want to deal drugs, don’t do it on main street…</p>

<p>its funny because my high school is nothing like this, kids smoke weed a lot but we have “intellectual potheads” who get good grades, and go to ivies. haha no one smokes at school, the last fight we had was two years ago and the teachers didnt even find out. everyone is super-stressed, paranoid and everyone lies about their grades. and everyone is rich not like the rich that you are talking about. im talking nyc rich example most of my friends have drivers, three or more houses greenwich, hamptons etc. at least most of them are old east-coast money, and they dont flash it around. sooo many kids have a tutor in every subject just to get ahead. i am well-off but not like all of these sometimes my own friends drive my absolute crazy. i realize that this a different set of problems then yours but its driving me crazy also kids have panic attacks all the time, ritalin and adderal use is rampant not as recreation but to get ahead it is soo stress like you can’t believe adn everyone drinks away their problems on weekends. its a pressure cooker waiting to explode…</p>
<p>I would rather go to that school. Out of the 2000 students in my school, 48 of them took 67 AP tests last may</p>

<p>OK lets make a compromise. Obviously we are never going to decide which school is worse so lets just say that our schools are both horrible in different ways. We both deserve to get out of this mess on March 10th!!!</p>
<p>yes most definitely for me however i need to get out of my house and live by myself were i can think and not be nagged constantly by my parents</p>

<p>Yea, I agree with hcos. One of the main reasons I started to look at boarding schools was to escape this life of drugs and family members using drugs + lots of fighting.</p>
<p>Seriously, I can’t take one more year of this crap. I am trying to find summer programs that allow me to get away for the summer.</p>
<p>gossip girl is completely inaccurate kids from outside the city ask my this all the time.
there are kids like that who go clubbing and drop a couple thousand in a night. but most kids aren’t like that. most kids go nuts in the hamptons during the summer.</p>
