Applicants of 2010

Come to China guys!!! I’ll be your host!!! lol

I want to go to Antarctica too!!

good…good >] ;)

AND- I want to go traveling around Europe with my friends during a gap year r something after highschool. plus I want to do a study abroad in Spanish or French (location unknown).

ahh i’d love to go to spain for a language exchange program! the only problem is that i’m not so great at it. hahahaha

I would prefer going to Latin America rather than Spain to study Spanish, because I also really really like the rain forest and nature there… ~sigh~ I am in love with Angel Falls in Venezuela.

^ also, the spanish in spain is really different - much more complex. I mean, w.t.f is vosotros?

“you all”? … It’s really annoying. I dislike.
Plus, I have a feeling that knowing Mexican dialect will be more important than knowing Spain dialect. The US is dealing with Mexico a lot these days.

I’d be dealing with a puerto rican dialect, not mexican. Isn’t spain like the same as argentina?

^Rad, I don’t think so. I know Argentines have this extremely strong accent/weird dialect, but it’s not that similar to the Spanish one.

Well this is from what I’ve heard from my spanish teacher who’s lived in both places. I may be mistaken though.

^my Spanish teacher is from Argentina. She says that in some parts of Argentina, the dialect is like Spain (and they use vosotros! gasp).

In 8th grade we used the vosotros conjugations but in 9th grade we didn’t and in 10th grade I am pretty sure we won’t also.

Do boarding schools in general teach the vosotros? That must be a pain for some people like me who can’t conjugate anything in it.

^how hard is it to put “-eis*”?

Rad what level spanish are you taking? I don’t think it is as easy as adding eis. There are so many different forms in spanish two that I can’t even handle the 5 other ones.

^Rad, sorry, when I visited Argentina I didn’t realize they also used vosotos. So you might be right :)

EDIT:

And 2010Hopeful is right, you don’t just add ‘eis’…it’s much more complicated.

Yeah, there’s all the different forms… Ughh. Bleh. What Spanish level is everyone taking?

AP Spanish Language next year  you?

Well at my public school, I am taking Intermediate II cause our sequence is
