Application

I know that the application is officially due on January 1st, but do I need to have all my parts in by that date? I took the SAT yesterday, as a stand by, and am worried that I will not be able to forward my scores by January 1st. Also, I haven’t sent my common app yet. If I send in my common app on lets say December 20th (the day I start my break) and find out that UVA did not receive my high school transcript (for w/e reason) would i be screwed? I had my high school forward my transcripts, teacher recs, etc. a couple of months ago.

Q: I know that the application is officially due on January 1st, but do I need to have all my parts in by that date?

A: The Common Application, UVa Supplement and Application Fee need to all be there by January 1st.

Q: I took the SAT yesterday, as a stand by, and am worried that I will not be able to forward my scores by January 1st.

A: Scores for the December test will be available December 21st giving you time to send them to UVa.

I had my high school forward my transcripts, teacher recs, etc. a couple of months ago.

A: If you had these sent in months ago then they should be there waiting for your application and admissions will match it up at that point. Don’t worry they do this for over 22,000 applicants. You will be able to see what they are missing (if anything) once you get your login after submitting all components mentioned in Answer #1. If you know you sent it give it time to be matched up. They are approaching their busy time and need a couple of weeks to match up all materials.

Good Luck to you! Sounds like you are on the right track!
