For regular admissions, although it says we will recieve our notification of our acceptance or rejection on April 1st, is it possible that we receive them sooner or is every single result released on that day?
Usually they are released electronically on a friday afternoon, before April 1st. UVa stopped sending out “likely letters” in advance of decisions.
I suggest that students work with their families to make sure there is flexibility in their schedules to attend admitted student events in April at UVa and other colleges that have spring admissions decisions. You will need to make a decision by May 1, so there is a relatively short window.
Admitted student days are much more valuable than generic admission tours.
There will be earlier admitted student days for students with early admission.
