<p>So, I seem to come across problems when applying online. Is it easier for an international student to apply by mail? What do you guys think?</p>
<p>Apply online, things can get lost and take a long time in the mail. Besides many schools prefer that you apply online anyway so they don’t have to scan your app.</p>
<p>Yeah I guess, but I think I’ll apply by mail. I already have the teacher recs written and all. If I apply they have to do it all over again online right? Mail seems easier, atleast for me now when I looked it all over</p>
<p>i am applying by mail, too. it seemed just way easier, plus it gives me a more comforting feeling when i see ALL the things i need together, in one place, literally in front of me, i can look it all over, check it on my list etc.
seems somewhat stupid, but also one guy on cc wrote, that he gets the feeling that applying by mail seems more personal, that it puts the idea of the person behind the papers in the heads of the admission officers. since they do scan it, i think this might not be too true, but still…</p>
