Is there anyway to automatically or with another application to apply to the college if I don’t get accepted into the Arch school? I plan to apply Early Decision. I know the FAQ says you can only apply to one school but I know schools like Tech allow this. Dean J?
[I’m</a> not sure what else to say](http://admission.virginia.edu/faq#answer019).
I want to go the A school but don’t want to risk not getting into UVa at all. I was hoping there was a way to re-apply if I didn’t get into the A school early decision. But I guess not.
Can you provide any guidance on applying to one school or the other for admittance? For the A school, I have demonstrated interest with AP art, set design, and spent sometime at an architecture firm. But if the A school is crazy competitive, I wonder if my chances are better to apply to the college?
You should apply to the school you want to study in. If you have a burning desire to study Architecture then you should apply to the A school. Competition should not scare you, it should focus you and motivate you.
The acceptance rate is actually higher then the other schools; it may seem ultra competitive because it’s a small pool of applicants compared to the other schools.
Thanks!
