Applying for uni abroad as an American

As the school year winds down, I wanted to know how many American high school students are applying to college abroad.
I am applying to unis in China and Japan

How is that important? Do you hope to estimate your own odds or is it iddle knowledge for you?

I just wanted to know. Small amount of students actually do this

Studying abroad isn’t for everyone. There are financial, linguistic and cultural barriers, with few countries offering an affordable version of the American college experience. If you’re among those willing to study at a no-frills, no-campus commuter college where your entire grade is based on one or two exams – more power to you. But it’s not what a lot of Americans want.
