I think you have a very good chance. Just go for an early-decision-binding with something like Barnard or Wellesley. HUGE chances of getting awesome aid/acceptances.

<p>The problem is, I won’t be able to apply ED anywhere because I won’t have my SAT/SAT II scores by then. Also, my AS level grades suck, so I’m retaking them and I won’t have my results till January. Also, I’ve taken Wellesley off my list and replaced it with Ohio State.</p>

<p>I’m a sophomore at Lafayette from Pakistan and I would highly suggest you do ED (binding) here, cause from what I can tell you have an interesting personality, and I’ve seen people with not-so-stellar grades but genuine life stories get in with full aid. <p>You would need the SAT and usually two SAT Subject Tests in addition to TOEFL. There is very little time at this point to manage all this. You would have to move quickly and try to take the SAT tests in November, then SAT Subject in December or January.</p>

<p>There could be many reasons for why they would want SAT Subject Tests. By the way, my son has already completed 5 AP courses. He scored 5s on four and 4 on one. He is also taking another 5 AP tests in May. However, he is still is taking the SAT Subject Tests in November too.</p>
<p>In American colleges you will be studying more than just accounting. They want to make sure you have the skills to handle a range of courses, including math and science for distribution requirements. I would highly recommend taking Math II SAT Subject Test in addition to a science.</p>

<p>Umm, MIT, Cal Tech, GIT, Cornell, Princeton and Texas A&M doesn’t offer loads of aid, but it’s still a decent amount and their tuition cosy isn’t that high, so it’s affordable.</p>
<p>Maaz, Nobody can predict accurately whether you will get accepted or get financial aid. Bates and Middlebury are both top notch private LACs and could give financial aid to a strong applicant. Your SAT scores make you more competitive at Bates than Middlebury for financial aid, but a lot will depend on how you do on those SAT Subject Tests too.</p>
