16% of even numbers from 2-50 right?

LCD of those fractions was 4(x-2)(x+2) right?

nah I didnt get one of them (either (x+2) or (x-2))

so it was 4(x+2) or 4(x-2)

Pretty sure it was 4(x-2)^2(x+2)
16% was right

Someone posted it in another thread, but I put (-3,3) and (-3,-3) (something like that) for the possible center of a circle. I didn’t include (3,0) because the radius was 5 coordinates and i think it was between like (-7,0) and (1,0). I think… (first post!woo!)

It was 16% and 4(x+2)(x-2)

for the LCD: i put (x-2) because it showed up in both denominators after being factored
circle raidus: i put the (-3,0) only… i think i should have graphed it on calc :<

it was 4(x-2)(x+2)

if the parade is not cancelled its not raining

48 for the pyramid one

edit- circle was (-3,3) and (-3,-3)

if it was at (-3,0) with a radius of 5, then it would intersect the x-axis at (-8,0) and (-2,0) not -7 and 1

LCD means Least Common Denominator meaning that both denominators have to be the SAME. If it shows up in both, it doesn’t mean it’s the LCD, just a part of it.

So i think the two numbers were

(x^2-4) and 4x-8

factor:

x-2,x+2 4(x-2)

LCD= 4(x+2)

While 4(x-2)(x+2) IS a common denominator, it isn’t the lcd

EDIT: This answer is wrong (unfortunately)

you get (x+2)(x-2) from the first and 4(x-2) from the second. there is no (x+2) in the second factor so you need to multiply top and bottom (numer. and denom.) by (x+2). there is no 4 in the first factor so you multiply top and bottom by 4. denominator ends up being 4(x+2)(x-2).

Yeah I don’t know what I was thinking. Thanks

what about the one about the ski boot sale being $30,000 each month but the sales tax increased from 6% to 7%??? i don’t remember what my answer was all i know is that I chose the smallest number

anyone??

stalanta was right, I multiplied them both together. So I got 4(x-2)^2(x+4)

What was the right answer for the question with the ascending plane that was 10,000 feet up in the air and traveled for so many miles? Something like …
Arcsin 10000/(whatevermiles)5,280

had to be arcsin (also known as inverse sine) because it gave opposite and hypotenuse lengths.

Usnfilms, I think I put 3,600

The 6%-7% was $3600.
The airplane was Arcsin(10000/8(5280))

usn it was 3600 I want to say

it was 3600
