I believe it was x^2 - 4 and 4x-8 and the lcd would have been x-2 because x^2-4 factors to (x+2)(x-2) and 4x-8 = 4(x-2) and the lcd was x-2

the hypotenuse was 26 if you made the two right triangles into on right triangle. 28 wasn’t even a choice

@kobe - pass the ball

you don’t combine the two right triangles. ignore the right triangles. just…forget they exist. make ONE right triangle, with the two points as the endpoints of the hypotenuse.

and yes, hypotenuse is 26. typo sorry

it really didn’t matter if you used two triangles and combined them or not. either way it was still 26 lol

my point is not about the answer or not

had it been a bubble in a la SAT, you would have gotten the question wrong. there is no excuse for not knowing how to do the distance thm or draw a simple triangle

what are you talking about dude, I definitely got 26 as the hypotenuse when I made the triangle.

does anybody remember the exact question for the waterski question?

Was the geometric sequence question really asking for the seventh term? Gahh… I thought they wanted the next term in the series. Such a stupid mistake… -.-

I thought it asked for the next term too, so I guess I got that wrong.

Are you guys absolutely sure it asked for the seventh term?
Sorry, I’m freaking out because I know I made a couple other stupid mistakes as well.

It definitely said seventh term.

I agree. Um…how many people got “A” answers in the last 10? I did not finish math and randomally bubbled in A for 52-59.

(I loved 60. I really did. I wish there were more of those.)

If it’s raining, the parade is cancelled.
Blah blah.
If the parade is not cancelled, then it is not raining.

I do too. :o

Does anybody remember… I think it was 51?

Something about ax = y (or something like that), x = blah blah blah, ax -2 = y, x = 8… what is the value of a? I really don’t remember that question at all, I skipped it and went back and ended up having to guess (I put down 2/7 I believe). Also, totally missed the 16% one and put 8% instead.

Any D’s near the end? if anybody remembers…

Did anyone get (3/4) for the wheel barrel question? That’s what I got.

Wheel Barrel question?
You mean the 3pi/2 question?

@Iris/Hockey

the answer was 3/4.

(3pi/2)/(2pi) = 3/4

^Hell yeah!! Does anyone know the curves for this test yet? Hopefully, one can still get a 36 with -1 because right now, the only one I think I got wrong was the radius equaling 4/central angle problem (and I HAD 4 AND CHANGED IT TO 2).

Oh, how about the rectangle and triangle area problem?
1/2?

1/2 all the way!

3/5 from Let’s say A-B-C
AB = 3 BC = 2

So Rectangle was 10, and 2 triangles were 2.5 each. :o
