<p>Short: I got a D in APUSH S1 and I’m going to get a C or D S2. I took AP Euro and got A’s both semesters. Can I just take the SAT II subject test to prove to them that I know it, or will it still hurt me?</p>
<p>It’ll still hurt you, but a good score on the subject test will help. Yea… Ds aren’t good.</p>
<p>Yeah. A high subject test score will mitigate a D to some extent. Preferably, you get a 800 on your subject test so there is no question about your competency in APUSH - only about your work ethic in class …</p>
